This Glass Globe Light Bulb Protector is NON coated and should be used with protective guard cover to prevent impact with Glass Globe. The Glass Globes are also universal size to fit most all walk in cooler light fixtures but just like the hood they should have a protective shatterproof coating or protective cover over glass globe. We offer the protective cover separately.
